While he goes ahead at an unrelenting pace, his contemporaries too are doing well for themselves. Aamir Khan has pretty much created a world of his own, especially after 3 Idiots. Salman Khan has also come back with a Dabangg bang. Meanwhile, Shahrukh Khan is coming up with Ra.One and Don 2.
So is this an indication of a battle between all these top notch actors again in 2011 for seeking the top slot?
Laughs Akshay and comments, "There are no battles or wars but I'm sure the media will make it a great adventure for us. It's going to be lively for sure."
Turning serious, he adds, "I think all of us are past the ‘fight for the top slot’ stage. We have created our own slots and are happy doing our own thing."
On a different note, while there was so much being said and written about his so-called rivalry with Shahrukh Khan till about a year or back, today the focus has shifted to Shahrukh-Salman tussle. For someone like him who has been known for his non-confrontational image, does it sound all so unnecessary after all?
"You said so yourself, I'm non-confrontational. I'd be a fool to comment now, wouldn't I", states Akshay with a straight face before signing off.
